So Very Thankful

I held off on writing my thankful post yesterday, because I knew what today was bringing.
Our ultrasound!!

The hubs says it kind of looks like Skeletor. I tired to point out that it's his forehead, eyes, open mouth, and then the lines are the fingers. But he still has it looks creepy, I (sadly) kind of agree. I wish the tech would have gotten a profile, since we have one of each of the girls. But I'll take what I can get.

My hubs and the girls were unable to go, because our hospital doesn't allow children in the room. That was disappointing. But on the bright side it meant that I was finally able to surprise him with baby news. Up until now, he has been there every time I've found out I was preggo and every time we found out what we were having. So, I was pretty excited to finally get to see him surprised.

After the appointment I went to the store and bought two onesis (that were just PERFECT) and the most gender neutral gift bag I could find. Then when I got home I set up the camera to record his reaction and let him open it.

His reaction wasn't as excited as I thought it would be, but Miss Diva's response was priceless. So priceless that I just have to share.

So, now that we finally know it's a BOY I get to start making things for him! I'm really excited. In fact, I've already bought a cross stitch birth record kit.

I've done one for each child.

Sorry for the shoty pictures. I never realized how hard it is to take a picture of something that is framed without getting a horrible glare.

We still haven't decided what his room with be decorated with. Although, I'm guessing it's going to be football. God love my hubs. :)

But I'm thinking about a blanket for him. I made each of the girls a blanket, but that was before I was in to quilting. I have so many more ideas, now that I know how to quilt. A follower actually had a great idea.

I was wondering if any of you would like to make a block and send it to me to add to his quilt. I'd really love it if you would sign it or write a little note. I think it'd be a great keepsake for him.  It can be any design and with any fabric, but to keep it unformed I'd like it to be a 6" block.

If you'd like to take part, just leave me a comment with your e-mail and I'll send you my address. I'm not going to start piecing it until May, so you have plenty of time.

Anywho, after all that. I am thankful that my hubs is getting his boy, but more thankful that he is healthy. Three happy, healthy babies is more then I could ever have asked for!
